Learning Outcome(s)	2.3 Present information to different audiences by: (k. summarizing information) vi. summarizing ideas in a text
Specific Objective(s)	By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: i. identify at least 7 main points from the text. ii. use correct sentence connectors to join the sentences. iii. keep to the required number of words when writing summary.
Activities	1. Students identify or underline at least 1 main point from every paragraph. 2. Teacher allocates students to read aloud their answers. 3. Students list down sentence connectors on the board. 4. Students are required to write summary based on the points and connectors given.

Activities	Students choose their own reading material and read. Students fill their NILAM form. Students are asked to write synopsis of the book.

Activities	1. Teacher reviews on previous lesson. 2. Teacher copies summary on the board. 3. Students compare their answers with the one given by the teacher. 4. Teacher concludes the lesson by asking students to give 3 disadvantages of using mobile phone in the class.
