- recite the poem.

- identify the literary elements learnt in the poem.

  1. Teacher presents the topic of the lesson.
  2. Teacher explains the key elements in poetry.
  3. Students are asked to recite the poem.
  4. Teacher elicits responses from students orally.
  5. Students write notes given.
