Specific Objective(s)	By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: Read the passage given. Answer the comprehension questions.
Activities	1. Teacher presents the topic of the lesson. 2. Teacher elicits responses from students. 3. Students read the passage. 4. Students answer the comprehension questions given. 5. Class discussion. 6. Students check their answers.

Activities	1. Students choose their own reading materials and read. 2. Students fill their NILAM form. 3. Students are asked to write synopsis of the book. 4. Teacher conducts ULBS assessment to 3 students. (Teacher assesses the students using the OET individual profile form).

Specific Objective(s)	By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: Identify a few characters in the novel. Know the storyline in Chapter One by arranging the events given in a correct order.
Activities	Teacher presents the topic of the lesson. Teacher elicits responses from students. Students copy the notes on the blackboard. Students answer the questions given. Class discussion.
